Job Type: Full-Time

Fuel your passion for technology and make a real-world impact! We’re looking for a talented Software Developer to join our team and contribute to exciting projects that support the United States Geological Survey (USGS) and the National Map elevation data program. In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to shape the future of geographic information systems, working with a dedicated, Agile team to process and manage geospatial data, particularly land elevation information.
As a key member of the team, you’ll leverage your skills in Python and Django to develop solutions that improve how geospatial data is handled. You’ll also be responsible for building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools like Docker, GitLab, and Jenkins, ensuring smooth and efficient workflows. A solid understanding of Linux operating systems will be essential, and your experience with Kubernetes will play a key role in managing containerized applications.
To succeed in this role, you should have a strong foundation in software development, along with a willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. You’ll be surrounded by a supportive team that encourages sharing knowledge and solving problems together. We believe in fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous learning, and we’re excited to see how you can contribute to the future of geographic information systems.

Voluntary Self-Identification of Disability
Voluntary Self-Identification of Disability Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026
Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
