As a SAP Security Specialist, you will support the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) in Springfield, VA ensuring the integrity of classified information and supporting essential security functions like industrial security, classification management, and operational security. You'll be responsible for managing access control, overseeing classified document tracking, and upholding secure visitor protocols.

Salary Range: $80,000 - $90,000

Requirements
  • Active TS/SCI Clearance
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field, or equivalent professional experience
  • At least 7 years of relevant experience, with at least 3 of those years supporting the DoD/IC
  • At least 2 years’ experience with Security Management Systems (SMS) and Common Access Cards (CAC) for managing physical security systems and controlling personnel access efficiently
  • Knowledge/experience of Special Access Programs (SAP) and Critical Assets Protection (CAP) to be able to manage security and access effectively, ensuring key assets are safeguarded from potential risks and threats
  • Ability to earn the DoD Security Professional Education Development (SPeD) Certification within 1 year of being hired, which is essential for maintaining compliance with DoD security standards.
