As a GEOINT Technology Specialist, you’ll lead efforts to enhance GEOINT operations, leveraging your technical skills, strategic thinking, and commitment to quality assurance. Your contributions will directly support national security by making sure that mission-critical geospatial data and intelligence products are accurate, accessible, and reliable, advancing the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency’s (NGA) mission.

Job Duties:
  • Analyze geospatial and multi-intelligence data using cutting-edge GIS technology to support decision-making across the intelligence community (IC).
  • Oversee geospatial databases, generate analytical reports, and prepare technical publications (e.g., target folders, film files, etc.).
  • Maintain and update Softcopy Keys (SCK) image interpretation materials, incorporating new imagery and conducting quality control.
  • Extract and analyze GIS data for accuracy, integrity, and relevance, ensuring it meets current standards.
  • Support Intelink website maintenance, manage databases, and ensure data accuracy for military, intelligence, and policy-making sectors.
  • Adapt software applications, tools, and data to meet evolving requirements.
  • Collaborate with SMEs through meetings, emails, and CoP participation to integrate new imagery, maintain data integrity, and respond to customer requests.
  • Ensure geospatial intelligence remains reliable, timely, and of the highest quality to support national security.

Salary Range: $95,000 - $105,000

Requirements:
  • Active TS/SCI clearance and willingness to undergo a CI Polygraph exam
  • Bachelor’s degree in Geography, Geospatial Intelligence, GIS, or a related field with at least 7 years of relevant experience
  • Extensive experience with one or more of the following GIS tools and relevant software (e.g., ArcView, ArcGIS, ArcIMS, RemoteView, ERDAS Imagine, HTML, Framemaker, Macromedia Fireworks, etc.) for geospatial analysis, data processing, and creating/refining GEOINT visual aids and documents
  • Proven ability to lead and coordinate technical teams to ensure seamless integration of geospatial data with other intelligence disciplines
  • Solid experience in one or more of the following skills (e.g., data visualization, digital cartography, remote sensing, imagery analysis, etc.)  to produce actionable GEOINT reports
  • Proficiency in MS Office, data mining, and developing/maintaining geospatial databases to support workflows
Desired:
  • Expertise in open-source intelligence (OSINT) research techniques to gather geospatial data and enhance GEOINT analysis
  • Familiarity with NGA geospatial policies and intelligence dissemination processes to ensure compliance with standards and best practices
