Full Stack Developer (UI & Data Analytics)

Join a mission-critical effort supporting the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) within the Office of Eurasia (AOE), based in Springfield, VA, where data, analytics, and user experience converge to drive real-world intelligence operations.

As a Full Stack Developer, this role sits at the intersection of development, data, and analytics. You won’t just be building applications, you’ll be working with large, complex datasets, understanding how analysts use that data, and creating tools that make it usable and actionable. You will take loosely defined analytic problems and turn them into real, working applications by integrating data pipelines, APIs, and databases, and building dashboards, visualizations, and interactive tools that support real-world analytic workflows, not just demos. You’ll work directly with analysts and data scientists to continuously refine and improve the tools you’re building based on real mission needs.

Requirements:
  • Active TS/SCI clearance
  • 10+ years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree
    • Or a Bachelor’s degree with 7+ years of relevant experience
    • Or a Master’s degree with 5+ years of relevant experience
  • Experience developing data-driven applications that support large-scale analytic workflows and real-world user needs
  • Proven ability to translate loosely defined analytic problems into functional, user-facing applications
  • Strong experience working with large, complex datasets (structured and unstructured)
  • Experience integrating data pipelines, APIs, and databases (e.g., Oracle) into applications
  • Strong programming experience in Python and SQL, with working knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript
  • Experience building interactive data visualizations, including image, time-series, or geospatial interfaces
  • Experience working directly with analysts or data science teams to iterate on solutions and incorporate user feedback
  • Experience developing in GitLab and working within CI/CD pipelines to deliver production-ready code
Desired:
  • Familiarity with AWS or Azure cloud platforms
  • Experience integrating generative AI capabilities into web applications
  • Experience with Palantir Foundry or similar analytics/data integration platforms
  • Experience with React.js and/or Plotly Dash
  • Experience creating advanced or custom data visualizations
