As a GEOINT Tech SME, you will play a critical role in leveraging advanced geospatial technology and cutting-edge analytics to enhance GEOINT operations in support of the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA). Your expertise will play a key role in national security by ensuring the highest quality, accuracy, and accessibility of mission-critical geospatial intelligence products for the Intelligence Community.
Salary Range: $95,000 - $105,000
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and enhance geospatial intelligence operations using advanced GIS tools to support high-level decision-making.
Analyze geospatial and multi-intelligence data to produce actionable intelligence reports and actionable insights.
Ensure the integrity and accuracy of geospatial databases, updating and maintaining Softcopy Keys (SCK) image materials.
Collaborate with subject matter experts and teams to adapt geospatial data, imagery, and software to meet evolving mission requirements.
Support ongoing quality control efforts and provide strategic oversight for data integration across intelligence disciplines.
Actively engage in the continuous improvement of GEOINT methodologies to maintain high standards of data reliability and timeliness.
Requirements:
Active TS/SCI clearance and willingness to undergo a CI Polygraph exam.
Bachelor’s degree in Geography, Geospatial Intelligence, GIS, or a related field with at least 7 years of relevant experience.
Proven proficiency with GIS tools and relevant software such as ArcView, ArcGIS, RemoteView, ERDAS Imagine, HTML, Framemaker, Macromedia Fireworks, etc.
Strong experience in geospatial data analysis, GIS data processing, and the development of GEOINT visual aids.
Expertise in data visualization, remote sensing, imagery analysis, and digital cartography to support high-level GEOINT reporting.
Ability to lead cross-functional teams, ensuring seamless integration of geospatial data with intelligence workflows.
Proficiency in MS Office, geospatial databases, and data mining.
Desired Skills:
Familiarity with open-source intelligence (OSINT) research techniques to augment GEOINT analysis.
Knowledge of NGA geospatial policies and intelligence dissemination standards to ensure compliance and consistency.
