Senior Geospatial Engineer
Enterprise Geodatabases | Marine Corps Intelligence Support

The Marine Corps Intelligence Activity (MCIA) is strengthening its enterprise geospatial capability to support intelligence operations across military and Intelligence Community networks. At the core of this effort are secure, high performing enterprise geodatabases that enable data integration, operational decision making, and mission collaboration.

We are seeking a Senior Geospatial Engineer with deep expertise in enterprise geodatabases to help design, optimize, and sustain this critical infrastructure. In this role, you will enhance and modernize enterprise geodatabases, improve backup and recovery processes, develop tools to ingest and transform geospatial data across multiple schemas, and ensure performance and resiliency across classified and unclassified environments. You will also provide advanced troubleshooting support and collaborate with mission partners to ensure compliance with DoD and Intelligence Community standards.

Requirements:
  • Active TS/SCI clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree in Geography, GIS, Computer Science, or a related discipline
  • 12+ years of GIS experience
  • 6+ years of hands-on experience with ESRI enterprise technologies such as ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Server, ArcSDE, Image Server, and ArcGIS Online
  • Enterprise level expertise in ESRI geodatabases
  • CompTIA Security+ certification
  • Oracle certification with experience implementing and securing geodatabases
  • Solid scripting and programming skills in areas such as Python, SQL, .NET, etc.
  • Familiarity with DoD and IC geospatial standards
