Here is your chance to join XTS as a GEOINT Data Scientist in support of the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA), where you will be essential to advancing national security through the strategic use of data science, artificial intelligence, and geospatial analytics.

In this role, you will harness data science, artificial intelligence, and geospatial analytics to accelerate NGA’s mission, which is transforming imagery and geospatial data into actionable insights, enhancing collection strategies, and speeding up decision cycles. You will design and implement scalable analytical solutions that automate intelligence workflows, strengthen GEOINT tradecraft, and deliver operational-grade capabilities to address real-world mission challenges. Working in a fast-paced and collaborative environment, you will apply your expertise in Python, AI/ML, and data engineering to build tools that directly enhance NGA’s mission effectiveness. You will also collaborate closely with government stakeholders and multidisciplinary teams, translating mission priorities into innovative, high-quality data solutions.

Requirements:
  • Active TS/SCI Clearance
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree
    • Or an Associate’s degree with at least 3 years of relevant experience
    • Or a Bachelor's degree with at least 2 years of relevant experience
  • Strong proficiency in Python and object-oriented programming languages, with experience using libraries such as Pandas and GeoPandas for data manipulation, automating complex workflows, and integrating solutions with cloud services
  • Hands-on experience applying AI/ML techniques for feature extraction, data enrichment, and predictive analytics
  • Proven expertise in database technologies, including relational databases, database administration, cloud-based data management, and integration with web development tools and APIs
  • Deep understanding of GEOINT products, data formats, and satellite imagery systems
  • Extensive experience designing and implementing process improvements to optimize operations
  • Strong communication skills with a track record of effective collaboration across diverse teams and organizations
